Dr. Thomas Goss is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of BeaconOne Healthcare Partners. Tom has been an advisor to the life sciences industry with over 30 years of consulting and advisory experience focused on innovative MedTech, Biopharma, and Advanced Diagnostics technologies. Tom leads evidence analysis, synthesis and value communication strategy development to support successful commercialization and market access. Engagements focus on development and delivery of impactful evidence supporting clinical and economic value associated with our clients’ healthcare innovations. Tom’s experience working with clients spans the range of early-stage startups and incubators, large publicly-traded MedTech, Biopharma and Diagnostics companies, providing “stage-appropriate”, actionable guidance to manufacturers, investors and industry trade associations.

Tom’s consulting experience is extensive, across a large number of diagnostic and therapeutic areas supporting medical devices, advance diagnostics and biopharmaceuticals; Tom has led numerous interactions with CMS, including supporting NTAP, transitional pass-through status and granting of HCPCS codes. He has published extensively in many technology and therapeutic areas and has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and over 90 peer-reviewed abstracts and invited publications. Dr. Goss is currently an appointed member of the U.S. Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Medicare Evidence Development Coverage Advisory Committee (MEDCAC). Prior to founding BeaconOne Healthcare Partners, he held consulting practice-level and leadership positions at Veranex, Boston Healthcare Associates (acquired by Veranex in 2021) and Covance Market Access Services. Tom is a pharmacist and started his career in Medical Affairs with Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals and supported the launch of several successful prescription brands; this experience has carried through Tom’s entire professional career.
