Mickayla Roan, Director at BeaconOne, attended MedTech Spotlight: New Impact Korea 2026 in Seoul, South Korea. The event was hosted by MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific in collaboration with the Korean Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and brought together key stakeholders across the global MedTech ecosystem. During the program, Mickayla evaluated pitches from six of the sixteen Korean startups selected to showcase their novel technologies. In addition to participating as a Judge, Mickayla took part in a panel discussion titled “Go Global: Enter, Grow, and Succeed Commercially in the APAC & U.S. Markets.” During the session, she shared insights and practical guidance for Korean MedTech innovators seeking to enter and scale within the U.S. market. The event underscored the importance of developing a cohesive go to market strategy that aligns regulatory pathways, reimbursement planning, and broader global market objectives.
